Ronald Hunter Poon (aka Grandcar, Grandad, Grandpa). Born April 1929, had a great Innings (96 yrs 9 Months 22 Days), died quietly 3 Feb 2026.
He was a father to 4 amazing people (Rhonda, Warwick, Noel, Bruce), Father in Law to (Andrew, Aine, Debbie and Fiona), Grandfather to 7 girls (Annette, Rachel, Tabor, Kathryn, Therese, Jacinta, Natasha) and great grandfather to
5 (Amelia, Isabel, Leonardo, Hunter, Quinlyn). Valued family members to (Patrick, Rowan, Peter, Marvin)
He was a great Tennis player into his 70s and a great table tennis player into his 80s, still playing until he broke his shoulder earlier this year.
Living independently his whole life.
He was an inspirational man who lived life to the fullest and never let anything stop him from doing things his way.
We will always love you, forever young.
