Dr Terence Douglas Stokes has died peacefully in Hobart after a short illness, with his sister June and brother in-law Allen present. He will be missed by June, Allen, Christopher, Jess, Jack, Rose, Josie and Elodie and many others.

Conservationist, philosopher, activist, academic and administrator; Terry was a most loyal and generous friend.

A memorial event will be held at a later date.
