Beloved husband of Beverley for 59 years, adored father of Trilby and father-in-law of Cameron, beloved father of Hugh and partner Davina, loving and proud grandfather of Caelan and Astrid.

Devoted 2nd son of William Alfred (Jock) and Ruth Hamill McGaw (both deceased)
Brother of Barry, Susan and Ian.
Loved by his close cousin since childhood Brian McGaw (Sunshine Coast)
Loyal friend and teacher of many during his academic career.
Died peacefully, surrounded by family and close friends during his last 3 weeks, after a sudden deterioration in his determined fight against cancer.

Forever loved and remembered.

Family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate Bill's life.
His funeral service will take place at St Philip's - Church Hill Anglican 3 York Street Sydney NSW 2000
on Thursday 30 July 2026 at 3pm.
