Late of Thyme Resort Mareeba, formerly long-time resident (62 years) of Anne Street, Aitkenvale, Townsville. Lois passed away peacefully after a sudden illness at the Mareeba Hospital on Thursday, 16th July 2026. Aged 94 years.
She was the beloved wife and darling of Bruce (dec.) for almost 64 years. A very dearly loved and loving mother of Dr. Charles Steadman (Emerald Lakes), Barbara Srhoj (Mareeba) and Dr. Peter Steadman (Brisbane). Respected mother-in-law of Jenny, Stephen and Caroline. Proud and loving grandma and mama of Nicholas, Thomas and Lucy-Ellen Steadman (London), Alex, Natasha and Tamara Srhoj and William, Claudia, Isabelle and Harriet Steadman and their husbands and wives, Fabian, David, Aly, Laura, Stef and GG of Sienna, Arthur, Mia, Beau, Raffaella, Austin and James.
