Gallery Gigs at NEA

North East Artisans' Gallery Gigs return on Saturday with Mandy Connell and Liv Cartledge live on stage.

In Your Face Exhibition

Award-winning folk singer and songwriter Mandy Connell has toured internationally and has multiple solo albums under her belt as well as numerous collaborative releases.

She will be joined by Beechworth's Liv Cartledge, who has been praised as one of Australia’s best emerging songwriters.

NEA’s Gallery Gigs are known for the high calibre of artists that perform in intimate "lounge-room" style gigs.

Bowtell named NEA President

Newly elected NEA President Tim Bowtell, said it was a privilege to host another set of incredible musicians at NEA.

“The Gallery Gigs have put Benalla on the map for touring artists,” Mr Bowtell said.

“We’re excited to keep the trend of talented artists going with this upcoming performance.”

Gallery Gigs Return

NEA music events coordinator Michaela Alexander said she was proud of the popularity of the Gallery Gigs and how they had grown in the past few years.

“The Gallery Gigs offer the kind of intimate music experience craved by musicians and audiences alike,” Ms Alexander said.

“It’s an honour to work with great artists and to be able to provide an environment that creates interesting audience-performer interactions.”

NEA Postcards Exhibition

The previous Gallery Gig featuring Paddy McHugh and Claire Anne Taylor was a sell out, so make sure you book early to avoid missing out.
