Benalla Rural City Council is seeking community input on its draft Community Engagement Policy.
Incorporating requirements of the new Local Government Act, the policy defines the levels and types of engagement the council will undertake in order to engage the community in its decision-making processes in a deliberative, effective and inclusive way.
Copies of the draft policy are available at the customer service centre, the Sir Edward Weary Dunlop Learning Centre and at this link.
Feedback will be taken until February 17, 2021.
