Now knows as simply GMCU, the Benalla branch welcomed company executives who were on a tour of branches across the north east, as new branding was unveiled.
At the unveiling GMCU Board chair Eugenie Stragalinos said it had been serving Benalla and other north-east Victorian communities for 65 years.

“We remain committed to delivering all the things our members told us they value most about GMCU – including always putting the wellbeing of our members and communities at the heart of everything we do,” Ms Stragalinos said.
“Today we launch our new-look brand, however, what we are really launching is our renewed promise.
“We are committed to putting the wellbeing of our members at the heart of everything we do and deliver banking with purpose, helping our members achieve their financial and life goals.”

GMCU chief executive officer Melissa Ralph said the organisation was proud to have been able to work with members and local suppliers to bring the new look and feel to life.
“We are even more thrilled that it provides us with a great platform for continuing to enhance member-owned banking services that help our members and communities continue to thrive,” Ms Ralph said.
“Our launch has been accompanied by the roll out of a range of enhancements to some of our most popular products and services in recent weeks.
“(That) will continue to be delivered through our direct community support and our ability to offer a different kind of banking – that is inclusive, accessible, and supports our members to reach their goals.”
