The team and residents at Estia Benalla put on a great display to celebrate NAIDOC Week earlier this month, reflecting on Australia's cultural heritage.
An Estia spokesperson said the event included a Welcome to Country smoking ceremony.
“Team members and residents shared stories about their experiences with indigenous culture,” the spokesperson said.
“Everyone dressed in the colours red, black and yellow and the residents proudly displayed their artwork paying tribute to our Aboriginal community.
“It was a fantastic event which the residents thoroughly enjoyed and they all were able to learn something new about an important topic.”
