Benalla P-12 College Preps headed for the school’s Avon St Campus on Wednesday, July 22 to celebrate 100 days of school with a special assembly and colour run.

P-12 primary teacher Kim Rae said celebrating 100 days of Prep had become a really special milestone for students.
“When they first arrive at school at the beginning of the year, everything is new,” she said.
“The routines, the expectations, their classmates and, for many of them, simply managing a full day at school.
Jackson Hislop had a great time taking part in the colour run.
“By the time they reach 100 days, we can see an enormous amount of growth, not only academically, but in their confidence, independence, resilience and the friendships they have formed.”
The day gives students and teachers an opportunity to stop and recognise that growth.

And it’s an opportunity for students to feel proud of everything they have achieved in their first 100 days of school.
This year, students celebrated with a range of activities throughout the day, including the 100 Days of Prep assembly and a Colour Run with their Year 12 buddies.
“The Colour Run was a great opportunity to bring together the youngest and oldest students in our P-12 College and continue building connections between students across our campuses,” Ms Rae said.
Benalla P-12 Preps enjoyed celebrating 100 days of school with a range of activities including a colour run.
“The students were incredibly excited about reaching their 100th day and really embraced the celebrations.
“For us, as teachers, it was also lovely to look back at where they started at the beginning of the year and recognise just how far they have come in such a relatively short period of time.
“We’re very proud of them and are looking forward to seeing how much more they grow over the remainder of their first year at school.”
