Benalla Bowls Club is planning an unforgettable experience at its third annual Country Music Festival from June 11 to 14.
A club spokesperson said it was a great opportunity to support local artists and businesses while having a fantastic time.
“Enjoy four days of non-stop entertainment by talented local artists, including Owen Blundell, Leah Mahney, Norm Price, Anthony Tenace, Garry O’Brien, Rick Hudson, Nicole Mathews and more,” the spokesperson said.
“Intimate sets in the function space combine with musical mealtimes in the bistro.
“Sing along with your favourite songs, and maybe find a new one.”
Come along on Saturday, June 13 from 7.30pm to be blown away by the powerful voice of Carol Partridge, with a special tribute to Olivia Newton-John plus much more.
She will be supported by young local artist Laylah Baines, who will bring her fresh take on folk and country music to the club.
The Benalla Bowls Club can be your one-stop shop for the whole week.
Book a subsidised taxi to get there and back in safety and comfort.
“Grab lunch, dinner or both from the bistro. Enjoy a cocktail on the balcony after work. Take part in BBC’s Friday night raffles and win the makings of dinner for the week, as well as sampling the Friday night carvery buffet,” the spokesperson said.
“Why not try your hand at some barefoot bowls on the greens? Stop by in the morning for a coffee and cake. There’s so much to do at your Benalla Bowls Club.”
Festival tickets are available now starting from just $10, via bit.ly/BCMF26, with some great passes for the week.
