And it returns to Swanpool Cinema this July.
Since the popular annual event began, the Benalla Sustainable Future Group has come on board to help organise it.
It has followed the same format since its inception, featuring three sessions on the day with feature films and guest speakers.
This year will see a change from an afternoon start to a morning start, and the catering will include lunch, afternoon tea and an evening meal.
Tickets are available at $40 per head, and booking is essential, via trybooking.com/DMLQZ
SEFF 2026 will also have a strong Landcare theme, celebrating 40 years of Landcare in Victoria.
Landcare Victoria chief executive Claire Hetzel will be the first presenter.
A SEFF spokesperson said that sustainability and regenerative agriculture would be a strong theme for the films and speakers.
“The need for strong climate change action is also strongly featured, as in past events,” the spokesperson said.
This event is made possible thanks to support from Benalla Rural City Council and the Victorian Government’s Landcare funding.
“We also give big thanks to the small volunteer team who come together to organise this event each year,” the spokesperson said.
“It's a labour of love and concern for the planet and our children.
The event will take place at Swanpool Cinema from 11am to 8pm on Saturday, July 11.
