Peter Moore is chair of the Owners Corporation at Silverwoods Estate and said there was a litmus of issues facing Victoria and the local area.
“Predominantly we need change,” Mr Moore said.
“We need people with solutions not rhetoric; there are a myriad of impacts affecting everyday Victorians with no voice.
“If the Liberals are elected, I hope she surrounds herself with good people; there’s too much deadwood out there.”
For Mr Moore, transparency was first and foremost, and being honest about the realities.
“If we haven’t got the money, we haven’t got the money; that’s what it really comes down to,” he said.
“I feel that sometimes we're listening to stories and too busy mopping the floor to turn the tap off.
“I'm looking for significant leadership change... I’m hoping Jess can bring that.”
Mr Moore believes there’s a lot of stoicism in today’s world, and a lot of nefarious thinking, motivated by “what’s in it for me?”.
“I want to hear the good news stories; it's about catching people doing things right, and I don't see a lot of that.
“People doing volunteer work in our community is a clear example; they're doing the best they can, they aren’t getting paid for it, but they aren’t being recognised either.
“Nothing's always going to be 100 per cent, but at the end of the day, I think it's important that we're trying to achieve better ways of working.
“At the moment I'm not seeing that.”
