Outscoring the Redlegs in all four quarters, the Towners dominated in most areas across the ground.
Up forward Jack Cripps oozed class with eight majors and half-a-dozen goal assists, his marking and kicking a highlight as he continues to find touch.
Meanwhile, Kevin Kiernan played his best game kicking three, but inaccuracy from a number of other players cost the travelling side an even bigger win, with 40 shots on goal yielding just 19 majors.
Violet Town’s Mark Baker returned to the side after a two-game hiatus in fine form and edged out Cripps for best-on-ground honours.
Baker picked up 32 touches and six marks and was able to roam free from opposition at both ends of the ground.
Jack Broughton was another who was ferocious on his attack of the ball, while Jett Bewick off half-back impressed, as did Nick Abley.
The Towners will have the interleague bye this weekend, before their big test against perennial finalist Stanhope in a fortnight’s time.
After an interrupted pre-season the Towners continue to steadily build form, with the next month of matches instrumental in determining where the team will finish the year.

Violet Town’s reserves are back on the winners’ list after their own 104-point domination against Longwood on Saturday, with the Towners extending their lead at every break to eventually run out victorious.
Nick Papakaldoukas was again instrumental throughout the match, but it was the work of Riley Dowell that impressed the most.
Dowell continued to push his case for senior selection with a dominant four-quarter display in the middle, taking advantage of the ruck work of Rhys Taylor, to give the Towners control of the match.
Taylor also played his best game for the season and was instrumental across the ground and used his size to advantage in the air, while James Hynes continued his good form with his run and drive from the wing.
But while it was a dominant win, Violet Town’s coaches made their charges aware that there were still lapses that have hurt the side in the past few weeks.
But with match fitness building, and a number of players required to miss out on selection, training will be a key selection criteria in the coming weeks.
