The Demons came out firing from the first whistle and played some fantastic netball early, working hard as a team and taking a well-deserved lead into half-time.
The second half saw Katunga build some momentum, and despite fighting until the final whistle, a few costly mistakes allowed the home side to take control and come away with the win.
While it was a disappointing result, there were plenty of positives, including the determination, effort and teamwork.

After a disappointing loss last week, the players redeemed themselves with a hard fought come from behind win against Katunga, 22-20.
The first half didn’t go according to plan, with too many mistakes and lack of pressure leaving the Dees in a familiar position at half-time, trailing by five.
Through excellent defence and clever, calm and structured movement down court they managed to turn it around and claw their way back into contention.
Heading into the final quarter with scores level, it was goal for goal, until once again the defensive pressure created turnovers and vital scoring opportunities for the Demons.
BOC Sienna Reid was instrumental with her pressure and ability to bring the ball down court, making it easier for midcourt players to deliver into Del McMillan, who shot some lovely goals and moved well.
The other award winner was ever reliable Carina Rorato, who is always a strong backstop in the last line of defence, pulling in rebounds and making intercepts all game long.
