How fortunate I was to have spent 33 wonderful years with you in our amazing marriage. For years we wrote romantic letters to each other but as we grew old they became unnecessary. We just knew our love was eternal. You loved every living creature, every flower and every person. And everyone loved you. But I was the main beneficiary. As my vision deteriorated you became my eyes, my carer and my perfect soulmate. I was immensely grateful. I told you a thousand times. I am very glad that I did. You worked so hard, always in top gear and we couldn't slow you down. It wasn't in your nature. Sadly, this led to the collapse of your frailing body. Goodbye sweetheart Now rest in peace. You thoroughly deserve it.
