About 300 people were at Corowa’s dawn service on Saturday with more than 500 turning up to watch the march to the War Memorial and accompanying midday service.
It was a moving tribute, with guest speaker Captain Anthony Basaglia delivering his speech about the spirit of the Anzacs and Reverend David Sloan leading the town in prayer.
Throughout the day, local organisations proffered their own contributions, with Club Corowa putting on breakfast, The Aussie Hotel hosting RSL Corowa for lunch, and Corowa CWA displaying their own Anzac exhibit and morning tea.
