This work followed the decommissioning and removal of the old east track.
Work began to demolish the bridge earlier this month, with the bridge deck removed on Saturday 13 June.
Almost 12,000 cubic metres of material has been removed from the bridge abutments.
The removal of the old east track will allow construction of a new station forecourt, open public spaces, improved car parking, a passenger drop-off zone and bus interchange areas.
New east and west tracks have been commissioned in front of the station, and a new platform to service the west track is being constructed.
The changes form part of a broader station upgrade that also includes a new pedestrian underpass, improved accessibility, and upgraded public areas.
The new station includes upgraded pedestrian pathways and connections across the station precinct and lifts, ramps, and stairs to ensure the station meets modern accessibility standards.
