The Kew MP launched her Fresh Start Tour on June 21 in the premier's seat of Bendigo, with plans to visit every electorate in Victoria alongside local Liberal and National members.
Through meetings with local families, small businesses and community groups, Ms Wilson is outlining the policies and plans she intends to take to the election.
On Monday, July 6, her next stop was Echuca.
Ms Wilson told The Riv before her meetings in Echuca she wanted to speak with regional businesses to understand how they had been impacted by the cost-of-living crisis and hear their concerns about the economic state of Victoria.
She said she would also be promoting her 10-year economic plan, which aims to provide tax relief for businesses as well as removing the Emergency Services and Volunteers Fund.
“We've heard time and time again from small businesses ... they just feel like it’s getting harder to do business in the state,” she said.
“As Victoria’s alternative premier, I want Victorian businesses to know that I’m going to back them.”
Her visit to Echuca includes a roundtable meeting with the Committee for Echuca Moama, before joining the Echuca business community at the Echuca Hotel.
