Initially working as a trainer at the gym, under its former owners, Connor jumped at the chance to take over.
“We live locally, in Goorambat,” Connor said.
"We bought the gym back in December 2022 and we rebranded it to make it our own.“
After taking over, Connor and Sam decided to introduce a range of membership options.
"Were about to start CrossFit for kids this school term,“ she said.
“And we’re going to be launching a new program called CrossFit for Masters, which will be for people aged 55 and over.”
Connor said the gym offered two main class types.
“We have our Sweat classes as well as traditional CrossFit classes,” she said.
“CrossFit is a community, and a family, so we really love it and hope people will come in and give it a go.
“It’s a traditional CrossFit class including varied function and movement.
“The Sweat classes is exactly what it sounds like.
“They last 35 minutes and you know you’re going to get a good work out, then you can go home and relax.
“We’ve got a great facility which is in the centre of Benalla and offer classes at times to suit everyone.
“Our first class of the day is at 6am and our last at 5.15pm.”
CrossFit Hustle offers a 10-day trial membership so you can give either class a go before committing to a membership.
On the first Saturday of each month at 8am it offers a free community Sweat class. You don’t need to book this. You can simply pop along and see if it’s for you.
