The Harvest Home in Avenel has hit the market, boasting six rooms, a pool, gardens and more than 150 years of history.

Dating back to the 1870s, the property has maintained its heritage character into the modern day and currently hosts The Rabbit Hole Inn, which features French and Italian dishes that are brought to life by local produce.
Real estate agent Anthony Stevens said the property was a great wedding venue.
“It’s a beautiful old building that’s kept its history,” Mr Stevens said.
The Harvest Home was built during a time when Avenel was growing as it supported travellers between Sydney and Melbourne.
Avenel is known for being the childhood home of infamous bushranger Ned Kelly.
The property is located within walking distance from Avenel train station and is on the corner of Bank St and Saleyard Rd.
The property has been renovated and upgraded for modern hospitality use.
Harvest Home is being sold in a private sale at between $2.2 and $2.4 million.
