Benalla Wolfpack women win first hit out of season

Facing Charles Sturt University Muddogs at Churchill Reserve, the home side gritted their teeth to emerge 20-14 victors, kicking off their campaign in emphatic fashion.

Unfortunately for the Wolfpack men, their season's start wasn't quite as sweet.

Facing a powerful Wodonga Wombats, the visitors proved too strong an opposition and ran out 66-6 winners.
