Waaia controlled the match from the opening bounce, moving the ball well and applying constant pressure around the ground.
Despite the tough result, Jerilderie continued to compete throughout the day and worked hard against a strong opposition outfit.
The better players for Jerilderie were Brad Aylett, Evan Lawton, George Flanagan, Chris Marshall, Tom Sleigh and Max Diffey, who all battled hard and showed determination across four quarters.

At the bounce Jerilderie were a little slow to start and Waaia took their chance to put a few goals on the board before the Dee’s fired up and got to work.
Coming into the second quarter, Jerilderie took the fight to Waaia.
They would not allow them to dictate the game, and turned it into a genuine arm wrestle.
The Dees kept the Bombers goalless at halftime, clawing back a 20 point lead to nine points coming into the fourth quarter.
But Jerilderie ran out of legs, giving Waaia the opportunity to get the last leg up and take away a 13 point victory.

Jerilderie hosted Waaia this week at home, and luckily we were holstered with the support from the Harris boys and their two mates.
Jerilderie played four great quarters of footy, with determination in the midfield and pushing forward all day.
The defence was strong and the pressure went a really long way to our score line.
Perfect team play was on show and the Dees screamed the team song at the top of their lungs after the siren.
