Community invited to shape safer roads, better paths and recreation spaces

The event will feature a pop-up session on Bridge St East near Piccadilly Laneway, from 11am to 1pm, as well as information stalls in the Town Hall Foyer from 11am to 4.30pm.

Benalla Mayor Bernie Hearn said community members were encouraged to drop by, learn more about the projects, and share their ideas and experiences.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for our community to help shape the future of Benalla Rural City.

“We want to hear your thoughts on how we can make our roads safer, improve walking and cycling connections, and upgrade our recreation facilities to better meet your needs.”

The consultation will focus on three key areas:

“Your input is invaluable in ensuring these strategies reflect the needs and aspirations of our community,” Cr Hearn said.

“Together, we can create a safer, more connected and inclusive Benalla Rural City.”
