Emerging leaders join Greater Shepparton program

The program is delivered by Shane Garner Consulting and runs from May to September.

Participants will complete seven in-person workshops supported by online mentoring before coming together for a graduation event later in the year.

The program will cover key leadership areas including public speaking, goal setting, communication styles, resilience and understanding community and diversity.

City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali said he wished the participants well.

“I wish this year’s participants all the best as they begin the program and take this next step in their leadership journey,” he said.

Past participant Councillor Sam Spinks encouraged this year’s participants to make the most of the program.

“It is a great opportunity to learn more about yourself, grow your skills and gain the confidence to take on new challenges in your community,” she said.
