The girls came away with their first win for the season.
Perfect weather conditions saw the girls take the lead from the start and outshoot North Wangaratta at every quarter break.
Jenna Brunner was accurate with her shooting, working tirelessly in the goal circle along with Chelsea Bamford seeing her receive best-on.
The defensive trio of Ella Sheehan, Kelsey Moss and Fiona Doig kept North Wangaratta to 25 goals with Ella Sheehan proving her height and rebounding skills were one to watch, the impressive defence in the circle saw her receive second best on.
Fiona Doig stepped out into WD and was a pivotal role in intercepting goals on the ring and showed her experience and talk down in defence, earning her third best-on.
Fantastic team effort had by all, well deserved and fought-after win.

This week was our first game with our full team.
The girls went out strong and played a great game.
Despite a loss the way they played did not reflect their game and efforts.
Brooke McNeilly definitely stood up in WA this week using her voice at quarter times with lots of positive feedback to her teammates.
Brooke also fed really well into the ring to the shooters.
Molly Brunner stood tall against the defenders, moved and shot really well in GA.
Kate Nolan switched from shooting to defence this week going down into GK where she played a tight defensive game.
We look forward to next week's hit out against Mohyu.
